Moorside Community Primary School

Junior Wardens

What we have done so far: -

Our Junior Wardens went into the local community and worked with Calderdale Warden’s to pick up litter that
had been dropped. The children found it very rewarding to be able to see the amount of litter they had collected
together, which was a total of 4 waste bags. There was an amazing feeling of satisfaction looking back at the
positive impact that each Junior Warden had made to their local environment. The message the Junior Wardens
would like to say is ‘Please don’t litter, let’s keep our local community clean and tidy.’ Every child was very
‘Proud’ to be part of this exercis
e and showed the school’s value and ethos throughout.
