Latest Government guidelines regarding Covid-19

3 November 2020 (by schooladmin)

Dear all,

I hope you have all had a restful break after a very busy first half of term.

As you’ll be aware, Calderdale was to be placed under Tier 3 restrictions from Monday, but that has now been superseded by the national lockdown, which starts on 5 November and will last until at least 2 December.

These are the guidelines which state what we can and can’t do:

Government guidelines state that schools, colleges and universities will continue to remain open as they have been throughout this lockdown period.

These guidelines provide information about schools and colleges, as well as further extensive information on the forthcoming lockdown:

Our risk assessment has been updated and the Senior Leadership Team will continue to review in light of any new information that may be published in the forthcoming days and weeks.

Can I take this opportunity to remind you that pupils must not attend school if they or a member of their household exhibits COVID-19-symptoms or has a positive test result - please ring school to inform us of any absence.

Please can all families adhere to the staggered start and finish times and ensure that only 1 adult comes onto school site to drop off/collect. We also ask that whilst on school site all adults follow social distancing guidelines and remain at least 2m apart from other households.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any academic or welfare-related issues or concerns. We will be only too happy to help.

Take care and stay safe,

Mrs Higgs
