Dear Parent/Carer,
I am sure you will all be aware of the popular Netflix series ‘Squid Game’.
There has been some concern that children are viewing this programme,which has a BBFC rating of age of 15. The BBFC rating is based in the nature of violence and adult themes that are covered in the series.
There are also concerns that the popularity of this series may mean that even if parents are not allowing children to watch the episodes, children could be exposed to content via platfoms such as TikTok etc.
I have attached links which can provide further information and support for parents and I have also attached a Netflix parental controls guide which I am hoping will be useful.
