Dear Parent/Carer,
We will be celebrating the King’s Coronation on Friday 5th May, ahead of the bank holiday weekend.
We will be holding a Non- Uniform Day, where children are invited to come dressed in red, white and blue or as a King, Queen, Prince or Princess.
The Friends of Moorside have asked if children/ families can donate a bottle for the bottle tombola at the Summer Fair which will be held in the Summer 2 half term.
The children will be:
- Participating in a Coronation Party Lunch
- Designing a Royal Crest
- Learning about the Coronation Ceremony
- Learning about the Royal Family
- Visiting the ‘Moorside Ice-Cream Parlour’
We are looking forward to a lovely day and are really hoping that the children will enjoy this celebration ahead of a memorable and historically significant weekend.
